Marian & Doug's Wedding Pumpkin Bread 

Plan ahead-grow some pumpkins!

  4 eggs

1cup Vegetable Oil 

1 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1/8 tsp ground cloves

2/3 cup water

2 cups pumpkin puree

3 cups sugar

3 1/3 cups flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

Beat eggs. Add oil, water, pumpkin; mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees in greased and floured loaf pans. Cool in pans for 15 minutes, then cool additionally on cooling rack after removing the loaves from the pans. This recipe makes 2 large loaves and one small loaf. Serve as is or with cream cheese as a spread.
