Butterscotch Pudding

Whisk together 1/2 Cup  brown sugar, 1/4 tsp salt and 3 Tbsp corn starch

 Add 2 cups milk or 1 1/2 cups milk and 1/2 cup heavy cream - your choice

Cook until it boils - boil 1 minute

Whisk in 2 Tbsps butter and a shot of flavoring (I use rum or butterscotch schnapps)

Sometimes I toss in a handful of chocolate chips just before pouring it into bowls

Chill for an hour or so, then serve - put waxed paper on surface if you don't want the skin to form
